JNR. NBA COACHES CLINIC
BACKGROUND
NBA Nigeria as part of her basketball development and empowerment program organized a two-day clinic for 150 basketball coaches at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The Jnr. NBA Coaching Clinic was facilitated by Portland Trail Blazers Assistant General Manager Mike Schmitz and Portland Trail Blazers Assistant Video Coordinator Ikenna Smart alongside NBA Nigeria Basketball Operations Lead, Okaro Akamune.

We Project managed the Jr NBA Clinic end to end. The services rendered include Merchandising, Branding, Event setup, Photography and videography, and catering.
NBA POWER FORWARD FINALS
OBJECTIVES
The Power Forward Program celebrated its 10th Anniversary with the 2023 Power Forward Finals held at the MO Arena and the M.K.O. Abiola National Stadium in Abuja from September 19 -21, 2023. The youth development initiative which tipped off in June is supported by ExxonMobil, NBA and PanAfricare.
The program was to provide life skills, public health awareness, malaria prevention workshops, and basketball development programming to boys and girls.

SOLUTION
Our comprehensive services encompassed merchandising, branding, launch event planning and execution, media & PR, digital marketing, compliance, catering, photography, videography, and content marketing for the 3rd Place game, Stakeholders Dinner, and the Championship matches. Additionally, we conceptualized and executed the inaugural Power Forward Alumni. Furthermore, we established booths for Malaria testing and Menstrual health hygiene.

RESULT
We successfully hosted 35,000 students and 700 guests in the finals, while the Mental Health Awareness and Malaria Prevention booths engaged 700 people in the Abuja environs. The inaugural Power Forward Alumni Summit witnessed the participation of over 600 former Power Forward students.
BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE BASKETBALL COURT LAUNCH
OBJECTIVE
The Agence Française de Dévelopment (AFD) and NBA Africa unveiled a newly refurbished basketball court at the Campos mini Stadium, Lagos Island. The court refurbishment project done in collaboration with the Lagos State Sports Commission aimed to empower the young adult through teaching and skill development of youth in the Lagos Island area and surrounding communities.
We were tasked to manage the event end to end and procure merchandise for the the attendants

SOLUTION
Our solution involved comprehensive project management for the Basketball Experience Court Launch, covering every aspect from contracting a construction engineer to orchestrating merchandising, branding, launch event planning and execution, media & PR, digital marketing, strategy, compliance, catering, photography, videography, and content marketing. This end-to-end approach ensured a seamless and successful launch of the basketball court experience.

RESULT
The newly launched court is now benefiting 132 schools in District III and serving a population of 314,900 in Lagos Island. The launch event saw participation from 70 students representing 10 public and private schools, with notable dignitaries in attendance, including the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Emmanuelle Blatmann.
BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE P.E TEACHERS/COACHES TRAINING
OBJECTIVE
We were to conduct a three-day Junior NBA training program in Lagos, organized by Agence Française de Dévelopement (AFD) and NBA Africa, targeting over 250 physical education (PE) school teachers and basketball coaches as part of the Basketball Experience initiative.

SOLUTION
We took on the comprehensive project management of the Jr. NBA & AFD Basketball Experience P.E Teachers/Coaches Training, aiming to empower educators with vital skills and knowledge to positively influence young participants. Our end-to-end approach covered various aspects, including merchandising, branding, event planning and execution, media and PR, digital marketing, strategy development, compliance, photography, videography, and catering.

RESULTS
The campaign yielded impactful results as we successfully empowered over 200 P.E Teachers/Coaches across the 6 Education districts in Lagos State with basketball skills coaching. Furthermore, the AFD and Expertise France renewed their commitment to implement the program, indicating a sustained positive outcome from our efforts.
SPIRIT OF THE NBA CAMPAIGN
Introducing the NBA x Hennessy Spirit of NBA Campaign and Nigeria Office Launch, a game-changing activation of a sports property that has made a significant impact in Nigeria and beyond. We brought the first basketball court on a barge to Africa, drawing global attention to the NBA's expansion and the consistency of Hennessy's brand.
To achieve our objectives of extending the Spirit of the NBA campaign to Nigeria, launching the first NBA office in the country, and increasing the adoption of basketball, we integrated emerging technologies and sustainability initiatives into the campaign to create an immersive and impactful brand experience for our audience. We used eco-friendly materials for the sand castle experience and a digital merchandise display for the product exhibition.
Our sand castle experience and charity novelty match provided a unique local experience while retaining the global brand consistency of our sports and lifestyle brands. The campaign incorporated social media marketing and virtual reality experiences to provide a cutting-edge and immersive brand experience. With a positive ROI of 4:1, we are confident in the effectiveness of our approach.
