Lampe is currently Managing Director, Nielsen West Africa, and was previously Africa Marketing Director-Family Nutrition, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Marketing Director, Nutricima, Marketing Director, Zain Nigeria and Marketing Director, Cadbury East and Central Africa. Prior to this, Lampe worked several years at Cadbury Nigeria where he took on roles with increasing responsibility such as Brand Manager, Group Product Manager and Field Sales Manager and managed flagship brands such as Bournvita, Tom Tom and Knorr.

He is 2nd Vice-president of the Advertisers’ Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) and member of the Advertising Practitioners’ Council of Nigeria (APCON).

Lampe holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos and is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.

A recipient of several awards, Lampe is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and was conferred with Chartered Marketer status by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) in 2009.

He received the Marketing Society of Kenya’s Warrior award in 2007 for significant contribution to the development of marketing in Kenya, the 2011 Achievers Award of the (NIMN) and 2014 Marketing World ‘Industry Personality’ Award.

Lampe uses the podium to influence transformation in organisations and human capacity through discourses like “The Power of Personal branding” “The Discipline of Execution” and “Brand Innovation and Creativity”  He speaks regularly at conferences, workshops and seminars and contributes articles to several media in furtherance of his purpose to help build people.
